Wheat seedlings grown into sheetrock wall.

These images capture a moment in the evolving states of these pieces. Young seedlings take root, drawing sustenance from minerals embedded in the plaster walls holding them. Slowly a text emerges, full of potential and prospect. The young plants continue, drawing on the resources contained within their artificial world. Then as if propped on a fulcrum, their growth ceases, a decline begins, the words come to rest, lifeless, dry, devoid, only a memory of their living past.
